tuktuk – British Design. Inspired By The Tropics
One thing that I do love is a good shirt – generally a good flannel check is spot on, and I have found a brand that seem to do them pretty well.
tuktuk is a british clothing company that was founded in 2009 by Mark Scholes. The brands origins are that of my favourite city Manchester – a blustery, rainy City in the North of England. However, it was a move to Sri Lanka due to work commitments that was to prove the pivotal factor in the birth of the brand.
Inspired by its new tropical surroundings the brand set about sourcing local fabrics and production. And with that, tuktuk was born; British design, inspired by the tropics.
Since its inception tuktuk has evolved into a brand renowned for its quality shirts and colourful & unique fabric choices. Personally I own 2 shirts from the brand, both of which get worn very regularly and are both well wearing. To see the brands full collection, head over to wearetuktuk.com
